Overview

As one of the world's largest energy delivery companies, Con Edison is a trailblazer in technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and transmission. We are advancing clean energy policy and sustainability and seek talented individuals passionate about shaping the future of clean energy and contributing to a greener planet. Our Leadership Development Program (LDP) has three tracks: Engineering, Information Technology, and Business. As a recent college graduate, this comprehensive 18-month rotational program introduces you to the energy industry. The goal is to cultivate foundational leadership skills including critical thinking, open communication, leadership, job knowledge, initiative, innovation, and corporate citizenship to improve business outcomes, lead high performing teams, and grow as an agile leader. Over the program\'s history, successful LDP graduates have moved into leadership positions across the ConEdison companies, including the C-Suite. Our program consists of: Three (3) intensive six-month rotational assignments across New York City, Westchester and Rockland Counties to grow knowledge of operations and how Con Edison does business. At least one supervisory assignment in an operations environment leading a team of employees. Ongoing coaching and feedback from the LDP support team. Formal presentations to company leaders at the end of each assignment to showcase knowledge, process improvements, accomplishments, and lessons learned. Cross-functional training to develop leadership and technical skills and deepen knowledge of the energy industry. This is an entry level position. Con Edison provides a strong network of support for Management Associates, with an assigned LDP Committee, LDP Supervisor, Assignment Manager, Mentor, and a Peer Mentor.
