Overview
We’re seeking a Designer with 2–3 years of experience to support the design and development of new products within the Lounge and Fully Fashioned Knits category. This is an individual contributor role focused on assisting with product design, concept development, and technical execution. The ideal candidate has strong CAD and tech pack creation skills, technical garment knowledge, and proficiency with Centric PLM.
This position reports to the Designer and works closely with the Technical Design team to ensure each prototype meets the intended fit, function, and aesthetic standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in creating product designs and achieving the style, fit, and appearance goals for new and existing products
Execute CAD illustrations, detailed sketches, and technical design packages (tech packs)
Support design team in developing color palettes, fabric selections, prints, patterns, and materials
Shop competitive retail and trend references for design inspiration
Collaborate cross-functionally with Technical Design to ensure proper garment fit, function, and quality
Participate in proto and sample reviews; document specifications and revisions
Maintain design documentation and product updates within Centric PLM
Contribute to seasonal line presentations and visual boards
Perform some original concept development under guidance of the Designer
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field (or equivalent experience)
2–3 years of professional design experience (associate level)
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite
Technical knowledge of sleepwear, lounge, and fully fashioned knit construction
Experience with tech pack creation and garment specification
Familiarity with Centric PLM or similar product lifecycle management systems
Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Soft Skills
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Easy-going, adaptable, and team-focused
Strong communicator who takes initiative and follows through
