Designer (Sleepwear/Lounge) Base pay range: $34.00/hr - $37.00/hr

Responsibility

Assist in the creation of innovative product designs, contributing to the overall style and appearance of new collections.

Perform original concept development, bringing fresh ideas and creative solutions to the design process.

Identify and select key colors, fabrics, prints, patterns, and materials that align with design objectives and market trends.

Conduct trend research by shopping retail stores, gathering inspiration, and analyzing market shifts to inform design decisions.

Collaborate closely with Technical Design teams to ensure prototypes achieve correct fit, function, and aesthetic appeal.

Engage in hands‑on design work, including sketching, creating prototypes, and meticulously specifying garment details.

Support the creation of comprehensive tech packs, translating design concepts into clear, actionable technical specifications for manufacturing.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent practical experience.

2-3 years of design experience, or a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills for recent graduates.

Proven proficiency in industry‑standard design software, including advanced CAD illustration skills.

Demonstrated expertise in tech pack creation, showcasing strong technical knowledge of garment construction, including specialized areas and fully fashioned techniques.

A detail‑oriented mindset with a meticulous approach to design and specification.

An easy‑going and collaborative personality, fostering positive working relationships within the team.

Strong technical aptitude for design, understanding how to translate creative vision into manufacturable products.
