Overview Accountant position supporting billing and accounts receivable activities for 3rd party customers, with responsibilities across the AR close, reconciliations, and financial processes related to the Promo and other business segments.
Responsibilities
Primary focus on billing for 3rd party customers: generate invoices in SAP, manage invoice distribution to customers' accounts payable systems, process account adjustments, credit memos, and customer refunds as needed.
Manage Collections of Accounts Receivable, track AR aging, and partner with internal departments and customers; cash application for payments.
Serve as point of contact for customer setup and maintenance in SAP; organize and maintain monthly AR accounting records; post daily bank deposits and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.
Bad Debt Reserve analysis and quarterly tracking.
Responsible for the month-end close process for AR, including preparing and posting journal entries; support month-end close for Promo business with ad-hoc analyses as directed.
Complete month-end account reconciliations and provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
Handle data requests from FP&A, Promo Operations, and other departments; support testing and automation initiatives; manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Participate in special projects and analyses as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred 1+ year of accounting experience with strong analytical skills.
Intermediate MS Excel and Word skills; strong interpersonal abilities.
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment; strong teamwork and ability to work independently.
Project management experience; understanding of general ledger functionality.
Must be available to work extended hours as needed during crunch times; remote position.
Additional Information
This position is eligible for company-sponsored benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and other perks. Salary range: $65,000-$80,000.
