Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
What You’ll Do As An Assistant Controller
Lead and mentor a team of five accounting staff, overseeing daily workflow, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive, productive culture.
Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and internal controls, approving vendor payments, collaborating with collections, and maintaining audit readiness.
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts, monitoring performance against financial plans and providing variance analyses to support data‑driven decision‑making.
What We’re Looking For In An Assistant Controller
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience in high-volume accounting environments.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
Previous experience with companies of comparable revenue preferred.
