Overview

Position: Assistant Team Leader - pOpshelf in Little Rock, AR. Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $28.00/hr. This role involves supervising associates, supporting member service, handling front-end operations, and contributing to store goals within Sam's Club / Walmart policies. Assist management with supervision of associates in assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, and training associates on processes and procedures. Provide direction and guidance on member service approaches to resolve member complaints according to company guidelines; ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicate and support membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits; process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; encourage renewals; participate in sales and marketing events; complete required documentation. Promote the value of Sams Club products and services; strive to meet membership goals. Provide member service by acknowledging members and assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and guiding members on self-service technology; assist with transactions and ensure club pickup orders are filled. Oversee area by handling claims/returns, organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, and maintaining cart availability and parking lot cleanliness. Complete accounting records, process deposits, and maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information; assist with cash handling and investigating discrepancies. Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs; analyze information, monitor progress, and identify improvements; support ethical standards and Open Door Policy. Lead and participate in teams; coordinate and execute work assignments; provide advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and quality; model adaptability to change. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register) and 6 months customer service experience; must be 18 years or older. Preferred Qualifications: Front-end leadership experience; supervision including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, and workload management. Benefits and Pay
