Job Title Financial Analyst
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive analysis of executive compensation packages, including base salary, bonuses, equity awards, and other incentives.
Complete peer reviews, including preparation and analysis of peer performance scans.
Conduct analysis to support decisioning on large scale projects including real estate and/or leasing transactions, technology contract renewals and RFPs, and project investments.
Analyze data to identify trends and make strategic recommendations utilizing a variety of data sources, including the HRIS.
Prepare detailed executive compensation reports and analyses for senior leadership and board presentations.
May participate in compensation surveys and benchmarking studies.
Conduct market research, peer analysis, and benchmarking to support decisions.
Assist in preparing materials for the Human Capital & Compensation Committee, including summaries, charts, and recommendations.
Monitor regulatory, governance, and market trends related to executive compensation and provide summaries to senior stakeholders.
Support preparation of annual proxy disclosure.
Assist Project Management Office (PMO) with ROI analysis and lookback analysis on completed projects.
Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.
Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
Data analysis and mining skills.
Strong knowledge of and the ability to interpret various financial metrics and concepts, including net present value, ROI, etc.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, HRIS).
Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior leadership.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting or data analysis.
Publicly traded company experience preferred.
Experience in banking or financial services industry preferred.
Computer and Software Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with an emphasis on Excel for analytics.
