The Home Depot . The Analyst, Trade Credit Services position is responsible for processes associated with managing and servicing commercial credit customers within the Pro Trade Credit program. This includes managing and establishing credit lines, providing receivables management and customer service, and supporting payments and disputes resolution activities. Strong analytical ability is needed to analyze information related to customers, sales, and organizational needs to ensure accurate service levels while meeting financial goals. Base pay

$60,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities

Collections and Disputes Management — Develop and maintain accurate collection status records for all accounts; determine when to place accounts with outside agencies or attorneys; resolve customer discrepancies or disputes; execute plans of action to resolve collections and ensure timely/payment processing. Customer Service — Directly communicate with customers and internal sales teams or leadership on credit and collection matters, verbally and in writing. Drives Results — Meet outlined operational goals and contribute to overall team objectives. Manage Credit — Perform judgmental underwriting for commercial credit needs, manage receivables, and mitigate potential losses through sound credit management strategies and execution. Typically requires overnight travel less than 5% of the time. Physical Requirements

Most of the time is spent sitting; occasional movement is required, with possible lifting of light items. Working Conditions

Located in a comfortable indoor area; any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Minimum Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older Must be legally permitted to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills Credit underwriting experience (consumer & commercial) strongly preferred but not required Experience in Credit Risk Management or related field Strong analytical skills transforming data into actionable information Ability to work independently Knowledge of retail business, financial services industry, economy, and business trends Ability to manage and respond to credit requests, process applications using financial documents to analyze credit Adherence to Credit policy, guidelines, and regulatory requirements Strong communication skills and sound decision-making Customer service and collections soft skills Minimum Education
