Collects and secures rental payments Scans daily bank deposits and verifies the accuracy of those deposits Assist Community Director with daily rate approvals in Yieldstar Inputs daily activity transactions in Yardi and clears outstanding validations Prepares accounting records and reports, including deposit accounting and monthly close out Verifies accuracy of move-outs for integration with rental collection company Delivers late rent letters and notices to vacate; contacts residents with unpaid rent daily Responsible for bad debt collection until no longer applicable Assist in eviction process and follow policies for local municipalities Enter activity into YARDI for daily/weekly/monthly checklists; enter Skip Watch information if applicable Assist Community Director with Apartment Ratings responses Assist team in achieving positive SatisFact scores Assist with leasing duties, including showing apartments and preparing leases via E-signature if applicable Maintain organized community office files Maintain knowledge of laws and regulations concerning apartment leasing and management (Fair Housing, collections, evictions, towing, pool enclosure) Prepare accurate and complete reports in a timely manner Handle or assist with work orders to facilitate residents’ service requests Assist in inspections of vacant apartments and prepare them for market-ready status Promote resident retention by assisting with the renewal program Perform periodic inspection of common areas and report maintenance needs Assist in planning and preparation of resident functions Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the operations manual; comply with company safety policies Assume duties of Community Director as directed Maintain courtesy and helpfulness to residents, prospective residents, and co-workers Have reliable transportation to attend meetings and purchase supplies Have a mode of communication to be contacted at home and to respond in emergencies Avail for overtime, weekend, holiday, and evening work; willing to be assigned to other Highmark communities as needed Perform other duties as assigned by Community Director Travel and overnight stays may be required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Mathematical skills (high school level) for pro-rations, deposits, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Outlook and internet Apartment management experience preferred Strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Yardi) Leadership and team-building skills Valid driver’s license Tax Credit experience preferred Compensation and Benefits
