FY26 Seasonal Tax-FSO- GCR Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory-Real Estate- Manager role at EY. Location: Anywhere in Country (New York or Remote-Seasonal Tax Manager- Real Estate). EY serves high-profile, national and multinational clients with domestic and international transactional tax planning and tax-related advisory services. The TARAS practice supports financial reporting for income taxes including tax accounting, tax provision procedures, and controls design and testing. Responsibilities
Provide clients with tax guidance and consulting related to tax accounting and planning (internal restructurings, acquisitions, dispositions, carve-out financial statements, GAAP conversions from US GAAP to IFRS or IFRS to US GAAP, share-based compensation, financial statement restatements and balance sheet remediation of tax accounts). Assist companies with all aspects of their preparation of the tax provision. Review the tax provision process to improve efficiency and accuracy and enhance the control environment; assess tax risk and control environments inclusive of and beyond SOX 404. Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in a related field, with significant tax or legal experience; MST, MAcc, or JD/LLM preferred Valid US CPA license or active state bar membership Minimum of 5 years of work experience in professional services, tax organization, law firm, or IRS Broad understanding and experience with federal income taxation Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and attention to detail Ideally you’ll also have
Strong ASC 740, Real Estate, and/or IAS 12 experience; experience in corporate tax planning and compliance; broad exposure to federal income taxation What we look for
