Vice President of Recruitment at Solomon Page
Our client, a global media company, is looking for an Accountant to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Hollywood. The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of GAAP, have strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.
Role Overview:
Contract Role: 5 months Pay: $35-40/hr on W2 Schedule: 9AM - 6PM, onsite on Tuesdays, remote for the rest of the week, however, may be subject to change based on business needs
Responsibilities:
Preparing and uploading journal entries Supporting month-end and quarter-end closes Assisting with cash receipts & accounts receivables Performing intercompany balance reconciliations Fixed asset reporting
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related concentration 2+ years of corporate accounting / controllership experience Prior experience working in the entertainment, media, or streaming industry is highly preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, etc.) Oracle experience is required Excellent written and verbal communications skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work a part of a team to complete assignments and meet tight deadlines
