Overview

We are looking for an Admissions Representative to join our team. This will be a HYBRID position. Some work will occur on campus and some work can be done remotely. Under direct supervision, this position will recruit qualified students for the college’s academic programs in a compliant, appropriate and professional manner. Provide basic information, routine guidance and assistance to potential students on matters related to enrollment and the admissions process. Evaluate and resolve student inquiries, issues, and problems, and ensure appropriate action is taken to the satisfaction of the student, Unitek College, and/or relevant regulatory agencies. Uphold enrollment standards by complying with related governmental regulations and standards of accreditation, and by enrolling only students who meet eligibility requirements as published in the college’s catalog. Demonstrate positive attitude and motivation, concern for students, teamwork, excellent time management skills and the work ethic to follow-through on commitment to students and the organization. Use Company approved Admissions materials during telephone calls, interviews and enrollment process. Observe and adhere to all company polices and best practices. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate course of action.

Responsibilities

Take inquiry calls from potential students and provide information about programs, entrance requirements, curricula and academic standards; encourage qualified prospects to schedule an interview. Return web inquiries and calls promptly with accurate program information. Make outbound calls to potential students; outbound efforts are a key component of this role. Participate in organized phone-a-thons and dialing campaigns as part of day-to-day activity. Initiate unsolicited leads and generate new business when not responding to inquiries or working with prospective students. Follow up on inquiries that fail to schedule or show for an interview; follow up with interviews that did not progress in the enrollment process and address issues as needed. Interviews

Schedule and conduct student interviews in accordance with company policy, using approved materials. Explain program offerings and match benefits to the student’s needs; advise suitable programs based on desires, qualifications and objectives. Ensure admissions management is informed about the student’s motivations and concerns. Mentoring and Guidance

Provide basic information and routine advice using established procedures and policies on available programs and eligibility requirements. Serve as a liaison between student and campus; assist in completing enrollment forms, review applications for compliance, and coordinate with Finance to ensure high-quality customer service during the transition. Mentor and advise students to identify their skills and interests; address easily-resolved inquiries and ensure appropriate action is taken in compliance with policy and regulatory requirements. Administrative

Accurately account for all inquiries and admissions activity; complete daily activity reports. Ensure pre-start paperwork is completed accurately and timely; keep all required reports current and accurate in the system. Attend and complete all required training; perform other duties as assigned by local leadership; attend meetings as directed by supervisor. Pay Range

$23-$28 Depending on Experience within For-Profit Admissions Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of customer service, telemarketing or sales experience (including admissions experience). Demonstrated ability to fulfill Company Key Behaviors. Excellent presentation skills. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook. Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis. Additional Information
