Position Summary
Walmart’s Global Security, Aviation, and Investigations organization is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager of Risk Intelligence to join our team in support of the newly formed Global Security Operations Center. This senior role provides actionable intelligence to support Walmart’s U.S. and international businesses, safeguarding customers, associates, and critical operations from global risks. We are looking for a career intelligence professional with 10+ years of experience across both public and private sector roles, who brings deep understanding of geopolitics, global risk dynamics, and intelligence tradecraft. The ideal candidate is not from a cyber/technical background, but has proven ability to anticipate, assess, and communicate complex risks. Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and methodologies is strongly preferred to ensure cutting-edge analysis and foresight. Location Requirement:
This position is based full-time at our Bentonville, Arkansas campus. In-office presence is required, remote is not an option—no exceptions. What you’ll do
Monitoring and Analyzing:
Tracking global and domestic risk indicators such as political instability, economic shifts, civil unrest, supply chain disruptions, terrorism, and regulatory change. Producing Insightful Assessments:
Delivering timely, clear, and actionable intelligence products (written and briefed) to inform senior decision-making. Applying Geopolitical Expertise:
Contextualizing intelligence assessments with a nuanced understanding of regional and global dynamics. Integrating AI into Tradecraft:
Leveraging emerging AI-driven tools and techniques to augment—not replace—core intelligence analysis. Building Trusted Partnerships:
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to strengthen Walmart’s resilience. Operating with Excellence:
Setting standards for rigor, accuracy, and relevance in all intelligence work; continuously improving methodologies and frameworks. What you’ll bring You have
10+ years of intelligence experience
spanning public service and private sector roles, as well as formal intelligence analysis training. You bring strong
geopolitical expertise
and an ability to assess the second- and third-order impacts of global events on business. You have advanced
analytical and critical thinking skills
that move beyond summarizing sources to providing unique insight. You have extensive experience
writing finished intelligence products —concise, polished, and impactful—for senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers. You are a
compelling communicator , able to brief senior executives with clarity and impact. You have proficiency with
open-source intelligence (OSINT) tools and methodologies . You are comfortable adopting
AI-enabled tools
as part of modern tradecraft, while maintaining analytic rigor. You thrive in
high-pressure, ambiguous environments , exercising sound judgment under uncertainty.
