Required Education and Work Experience: The successful candidate has diversified knowledge of principles and practices in engineering.

A degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering is required with the following experience levels:

BS with 2 or more years of experience

MS with 1 or more years of experience

(Experience must be with relevant work in a professional setting)

Required Skills/Attributes:

Experience with drawing complete and representative models in Cameo’s MagicDraw

Experience with working in a configuration managed Cameo’s Teamwork Cloud environment

Experience with branching and merging models to support multiple configurations, and development activities in parallel

Experience working with software developers to build and test software tools to export and import data from the model

Proficient in writing technical documentation in MS word and PowerPoint

Ability to be onsite five days a week when required

Ability to obtain Secret clearance

U.S. Citizenship

Desired Skills/Attributes:

Experience with C,C++ and Python, Matlab and other tools to develop software interfaces between Magicdraw + DataHub and engineering development environments

Experience with Cameo DataHub

Experience with IBM DOORS

Experience with in-depth analysis of electrical systems for reverse engineering

Experience applying STIGS to develop cybersecurity models

This position will support the design, development, testing and operational phases of projects undertaken at PERATON Labs, the research and development arm of PERATON corporation.

This position requires the successful candidate to work closely with a diverse team of engineering, scientific and technical staff to develop novel solutions in support of such projects.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to work semi-independently in a small multi-disciplinary team utilizing their experience to participate in the analysis and design of complex systems. Experience modeling systems using tools that correctly represent components in the electrical, mechanical, software, optical domains that ultimately comprise a field‑deployable system is a critical capability for this role. The ability to read, comprehend and generate professional quality design documentation is a required capability for this position as well. The successful candidate will be organized, dental oriented and able to track and implement changes to the model as required by senior systems engineers and other engineering teams.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Develop models of system components to facilitate a Model Based approach to engineering electronic warfare systems

Support development of software to export and import model data from the System Model.

Ensure the completeness of models including specifications, applicable requirements and parameters such that automated testing and simulation is possible.

Facilitate the automated delivery of documentation packages including schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, and test plans to ensure accurate representation in the System Model.

Prepare the system model for periodic review and delivery
