Low Voltage Technician position responsible for assisting in the operation of multiple facilities. The role entails performing additional job-related responsibilities as assigned and/or necessary. What you'll do
Essential functions and responsibilities include: Sets up and configures various low voltage systems (examples: security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, audio/video systems, network cabling). Runs, terminates, and labels cables according to project requirements and industry standards. Performs regular maintenance checks to ensure system functionality; identifies and resolves issues promptly to minimize downtime; fixes faults or damages to restore optimal operation. Provides technical support and training to end users on operating and maintaining low voltage systems; addresses inquiries professionally. Ensures installations and repairs adhere to local, state, and federal regulations. Follows safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment; maintains detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs; generates reports on system performance and maintenance activities; evaluates systems for upgrades; performs upgrades as needed. Collaborates with technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful project completion. Communicates effectively with clients to understand needs and provide suitable solutions; stays current with industry trends and best practices. Leads and participates in teams by coordinating work, sharing resources, and guiding others to meet timelines and quality goals. Develops and implements processes to meet business needs through collaboration and analysis; monitors progress and addresses improvement opportunities. Demonstrates and promotes compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards; supportsOpen Door Policy and assists management in addressing issues. Leadership Expectations

Technical aptitude for installation and maintenance of low voltage systems; knowledge of local electrical codes and standards. Ability to travel domestically to multiple facilities or work-sites as required. Physical activities include lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, stooping, and operating equipment in various environments. Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment. Experience with local electrical codes and standards. Preferred Qualifications
Training or certification in low voltage systems. BICSI Installer Certification. CompTIA networking certifications (e.g., Network+). Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Honeywell, Axis, Bosch); OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification. NICET 1 & 2 Fire Alarm certification. Primary Location
