Responsibilities We''re seeking a
Senior Systems Engineer
to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and drive complex systems engineering efforts across the
National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) ,
Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG) , and partner Federal Agencies. In this high-impact role, you''ll shape the architecture and integration of mission-critical GEOINT systems that directly support U.S. and allied operations.
What You''ll Do
Mentor and guide
mid- and junior-level systems engineers across the full engineering lifecycle, including:
Requirements development
Solution architecture and systems integration
Scheduling and service development
Testing, evaluation, and maintainability
Reliability and resiliency engineering
Lead planning and analysis of user requirements and system architectures
Improve system performance through the review of cloud service capabilities, workflows, and scheduling constraints
Oversee the development of solution designs based on requirements analysis and emerging technologies
Translate mission and customer needs into actionable system and capability requirements
Support the allocation of requirements to architecture components and program execution
Guide systems integration across multiple platforms, programs, and agencies
Conduct technical assessments including:
Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs)
Courses of Action (CoAs)
Trade Studies
Engineering Assessments
Assist in strategic planning and oversight of:
Project management
Performance engineering
Risk management
Interface design
Operate at the enterprise level-integrating multiple systems, services, and processes within
Major Systems Acquisitions , spanning
organizational and agency boundaries

Qualifications Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor''s degree or higher in one of the following fields:
Systems Engineering
Engineering
Physics
Mathematics
Operations Research
Engineering Management
Computer Science
Information Technology
Management Information Systems
Other related STEM disciplines
OR
12 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in lieu of a degree
Minimum of 12 years of experience in government or industry in one or more of the following areas:
DoD/Intelligence Community (IC) Acquisition Processes
Requirements development processes
PPBES (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System)
Systems engineering of large, complex
System of Systems (SoS)
or
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)/Cloud
environments
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of the
systems engineering lifecycle
Security Clearance
Active
TS/SCI clearance
OR the ability to obtain SCI eligibility and pass a polygraph
Desired Qualifications
Education
Master''s degree in:
Systems Engineering
OR a related technical or scientific field (as listed above)
Certifications & Licensure
INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)

Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual''s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
