We're looking for a Registered Architect who doesn't just design buildings—you design the process, the team, and the successful outcome. This isn't a role for the faint of heart; it's a chance to fully own complex projects from the first sketch to the final punch list, overseeing design concepts, construction documents, client relations, and budget management. If you thrive on simultaneously leading multiple high-quality projects and transforming complex problems into buildable plans, your next great challenge starts here. Responsibilities
Perform routine to moderately difficult architectural projects Conduct programming and design charrettes among the project team members Carefully prepare working drawings, calculations, specifications, basis of design narratives, schedules, and cost estimates on specific projects Perform field activities such as observe and record existing field conditions, take photos, provide condition assessments, and verify measurements within project area Travel to project sites (in town and out of town) for client meetings and field observations Review shop drawings, and respond timely to RFIs during Construction Administration Education And Training Requirements
Registered Architect, required (Florida, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, preferred) Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Architecture Minimum 5 years' experience in increasingly responsible architectural positions Minimum 3 years' experience as project architect or project manager Federal project experience (Defense and/or Civilian Agency), preferred LEED AP BD+C, a plus Benefits
