We are seeking a skilled and analytical Dark Web Security Analyst to join our team in Hollywood, FL. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of illicit online marketplaces, underground forums, and encrypted communication channels, and will uncover emerging threats, actors, and operations within the dark web ecosystem. This role focuses on transforming raw data and insights from hidden dark web communities into actionable intelligence for external clients. Responsibilities and Duties

Surveil illicit online ecosystems: monitor dark-web marketplaces, underground forums, encrypted platforms, and other hidden networks to identify threats, illicit goods/services, and high-risk actors. Transform raw intelligence into actionable insights: collect, validate, and synthesize intelligence on dark web activities, threat actor behaviors, and evolving criminal ecosystems; produce clear reports and visual presentations. Track and profile threat actors: document and maintain detailed profiles on individuals and groups, including their techniques, TTPs. Conduct deep-dive analytics: use proprietary intelligence tools and analytical methods to uncover patterns and forecast risks. Brief and advise clients: deliver timely intelligence updates, risk assessments, and tailored recommendations to support proactive decision-making. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required

Proficiency in Russian is required. In-depth understanding of dark web ecosystems, marketplaces, forums, and encrypted channels across multiple criminal verticals. Fluent in dark web terminology and culture; ability to interpret slang and coded language. Collaborative yet self-directed: works with cross-functional teams and independently leads investigations. Exceptional English communication: able to produce precise written reports and deliver verbal briefings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven research & intelligence production with a track record of turning data into actionable intelligence. Resourceful investigative mindset: curious and persistent in uncovering hidden links and patterns. Commitment to fighting cybercrime and safeguarding organizations and potential victims. Multilingual advantage: proficiency in Russian is required; Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin knowledge is highly valued. Scripting & automation: ability to use Python (or similar) to scrape and analyze large data sets is a plus. Visual link-analysis proficiency: experience with tools like Maltego or i2 is a plus. Education / Professional Experience

3+ years of hands-on experience in cybercrime intelligence, dark web investigations, or related threat intelligence/incident response. Proven track record of covert investigations in illicit online ecosystems. Background in cybersecurity, digital forensics, criminal intelligence, or related discipline (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred; equivalent experience considered). Experience collaborating with law enforcement, financial institutions, or private-sector security teams in intelligence-sharing is valued. Licenses / Certifications

Industry certifications such as GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI), CEH, or similar credentials are a plus. Additional Information
