We’re seeking an experienced ERP Change Manager to drive success in the City of Boise’s transition to a new ERP system by leading and executing change management strategies specific to ERP selection, implementation, and adoption. Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies for ERP selection, implementation, and transition phases. Partner with project leadership, functional teams, and technical teams to align change management strategies with the ERP project plan and organizational objectives. Monitor, evaluate, and report on change management effectiveness specific to ERP adoption and user readiness. Design and deliver change management activities including stakeholder assessments, communication plans, training programs, and resistance management plans to support ERP transition. Collaborate with functional leaders to identify impacts, develop mitigation strategies, and build a strong sponsorship coalition. Provide direct coaching and support to senior leaders, ERP project sponsors, department managers, and super-users to promote change adoption. Advising project teams on incorporating change management strategies into overall ERP planning and execution. Build strong working relationships with ERP project team members, IT, HR, Finance, and other impacted departments to align change management with technical and business process changes. Communicate change strategies and progress clearly to diverse audiences, including executive leadership and governance committees. Collaborate with the Organizational Change Manager to strengthen citywide change management capabilities by contributing to the development of tools, templates, and methodologies. Assist in the design and facilitation of change management training, workshops, and coaching sessions to build organizational awareness and capacity. Participate in the advancement of a change management Center of Excellence by supporting knowledge sharing, developing case studies, and identifying best practices. Contribute lessons learned and insights from the ERP implementation to inform and refine enterprise-wide change approaches, tools, and frameworks. Support internal consulting engagements as capacity allows, bringing change management perspective to non-ERP strategic initiatives. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, public administration, business administration, psychology or a related field. Five years of experience in change management, organizational development, or a related discipline. Experience leading change management initiatives for large-scale projects or programs. Experience leading change management for ERP transitions. Knowledge of organizational change management principles, methodologies and tools; contractual relationships with external vendors; computer usage including related software. Ability to implement change management frameworks in a complex organization; develop and implement strategic initiatives that deliver results; collaborate and partner authentically and strategically across functions; communicate effectively to diverse audiences; deliver effective training and presentations; coach, mentor and develop others; apply creative problem‑solving skills; contribute to a continuous improvement culture. Proficient in English at a level necessary for efficient job performance. Valid state‑issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Preferred Knowledge, Experience, And Training

Master’s degree in a related field or ten years of experience in change management, organizational development, or a related discipline. Prosci® Train‑the‑Trainer Certification and/or Prosci® Change Management Practitioner. Formal certification and experience in Lean Six Sigma. Familiarity with public sector operations or local government functions. Position Details

This is a full‑time, limited‑duration role with full City of Boise employee benefits. The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of annual renewal for up to two to three years, dependent on budget approval. Benefits
