Overview
We’re looking for a professional low-voltage technician to help us solve problems for our clients. You will be responsible for visiting customers’ homes and businesses, assessing their business and home automated gates, telephone entry systems, security cameras, and home access control problems. You will reference manuals to solve complex issues and repair them. You’ll also be asked to install new equipment and repair existing equipment. The ideal candidate has the technical skills to quickly identify and isolate problems, stays up-to-date on new products, and has strong communication skills to explain what needs to be repaired and replaced, and why. Responsibilities
Understand and employ manufacturer manuals
Complete preventative maintenance and warranty services for customers’ home appliances
Perform maintenance and installation of home appliances
Check newly installed appliance components to make sure they work
Enter completed home appliance repair projects and the parts used into database
Qualifications
Candidate must have excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer-service skills
Ability to move heavy and large appliances and excellent dexterity
High school diploma or GED required
Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Ability to learn new products and understand how to troubleshoot products using tools provided and technical support lines as needed
Compensation $55,000 - $90,000 yearly
