Akkodis is seeking a

Developer

for a

Contract

with a client in

Waukesha, WI.

You will be responsible for developing scalable backend solutions and implementing automated testing frameworks.

Rate Range $45/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

Design and develop backend applications using Java Spring Boot, ensuring scalability and performance.

Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.

Implement behavior-driven development (BDD) using Selenium and Cucumber for automated testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver robust software solutions.

Integrate cloud services (AWS preferred) and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.

Maintain and optimize codebase, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 6 years of professional development experience.

Strong hands-on expertise in Java Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes, and BDD using Selenium/Cucumber.

Familiarity with AWS and C++ is preferred for broader system integration and cloud deployment capabilities.

Pay Details:
