Description Technicians will be pre‑wiring and installing security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms. They will work with other technicians and Project Managers to complete and file all project documentation.

Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all security systems at customer sites. Installation will include video surveillance systems, IP and analog cameras, wireless cameras, access control panels, intrusion panels, magnetic locks, card readers, motion sensors, door contacts, electric door strikes, and more.

Perform assigned projects within scope, in a timely manner, and on budget. Provide customers with system operation and training. Maintain concise daily records and follow operational standards.

Responsibilities

Pre‑wire and install security systems at commercial installations (hospitals, airports, corporate offices, etc.).

Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all security systems.

Complete and file all project documentation.

Coordinate with Project Management and Field Technicians for project scheduling.

Provide customers with system operation and training.

Qualifications

Must have PPE before starting: hard hat, safety glasses, steel‑toed shoes, vest.

Regularly required to stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, and stoop.

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Experience: Intermediate Level.

Skills

Access control installation.

Alarm installation.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 – $26.00/hr.
