Associate Broker

(Investment Sales – Multifamily) in

St. Louis, MO . The role focuses on supporting the Investment Sales team, developing skills in multifamily property sales, underwriting, market knowledge, and deal structure, with mentorship from experienced brokers. Responsibilities

Marketing to new and/or under-marketed clients to generate new business. Developing and executing an individual Business Plan, including relationship building and learning the business. Preparing underwriting packages for investment real estate and understanding market submarkets in St. Louis. Learning deal structure, prospecting, and listing processes; prioritizing tasks in collaboration with the Mentor/Coach and local office objectives. Program & Timeline

AB Program (timeline based on individual progress): 1st Year: Support lead underwriter by learning company templates, interpreting owner financial statements, performing rent/sales surveys, and pricing; understand how physical attributes of properties affect values. Database management and market knowledge development; update sales, ownership, and contact information. Prospect calling to prospective purchasers and owners, with mentorship from MD or Senior Broker. 2nd Year:

Expand market reach and skills with ongoing mentor/coach guidance. What We're Looking For

Relationship-building and sales skills with demonstrated results. Negotiation and influencing skills; ability to resolve deal issues. Knowledge of commercial real estate underwriting, financial characteristics of multifamily properties, and ability to advise clients in complex decisions. 4-year college degree preferred (finance, marketing, real estate, business, or related fields); consider other degrees as well. Ability to work independently, stay motivated, and manage multiple projects with strong prioritization and deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication; strong problem-solving and discretion with confidential information. The candidate must hold a current valid real estate license in the state where they will work prior to starting the program or be willing to obtain one within the first 120 days of beginning the AB program.
