Personal Lines Account Manager - Tuscaloosa, AL
Oakbridge Insurance is seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager to manage existing personal lines accounts and support new business efforts. This role delivers prompt, high-quality service and develops lasting client relationships.
Work Performed
Manage personal lines accounts throughout the policy lifecycle, including new business, renewals, and mid-term changes
Provide exceptional service to existing clients while supporting growth through inside/outside referrals
Assist with coverage placement, risk evaluation, and recommending updates based on client needs
Prepare and process policy documents including binders, ID cards, EOPs, and insurance summaries
Handle client billing needs - invoice processing, reconciliation, and follow-up on outstanding items
Answer incoming calls, greet walk-ins, and provide general support in a client-facing capacity
Participate in client and carrier meetings as needed
Job Requirements
Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong organization and time management abilities
Comfortable working both independently and within a team
Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Education/Experience
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
3+ years' experience with personal lines insurance is preferred, but not required
Familiarity with agency workflows and management systems (e.g., Applied Epic) is a plus
Understanding of agency workflows and procedures
