Responsibilities

Accurate record keeping of all income and expenses

Monthly preparation of financial statements

Accounts payable management and vendor file maintenance

Revenue recording and treasury services

Reconciliations and payroll services management

Administer electronic accounts payable system (Papersave)

Manage TZMI credit card procurement card and statement reconciliation

Investigate and resolve vendor concerns related to bill payments

Prepare accounts payable checks and file documentation

Create spreadsheets and databases for internal and external reports

Support monthly financial statement preparation, reforecasting, and annual budget processes

Assist external auditors with reconciliations and schedules

Manage payroll process and audit employee time data

Calculate, report, and remit monthly sales tax to Oklahoma Tax Commission

Facilitate process improvement on accounting and reporting internal controls

Record revenue from point-of-sale system daily and other revenue sources

Prepare and file monthly sales tax

Responsible for fixed asset tracking, depreciation, disposal, and monthly reconciliation

Assist vice president in special projects as needed

Assume duties of vice president in absence

Communicate effectively with all levels of employees

Adhere to TZMI workplace values and policies

Attend staff meetings and training sessions

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and five years related experience or equivalent combination

Must be 18 years or older, possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable on TZMI insurance carrier

Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents

Advanced mathematical concepts and ability to analyze business reports for decisions and recommendations

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 360, Blackbaud Systems, and related software products
