A well-established New York City real estate owner and developer is seeking a Property Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations across a diverse residential and commercial portfolio. $85,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Additional compensation types

Manage monthly closes, financial statements, reconciliations, and audit preparation Oversee AP, AR, and bank reconciliations for multiple entities and properties Coordinate with property managers on budget reviews, tenant billing, and variance analysis Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with GAAP Assist with cash flow management, journal entries, and intercompany accounting Support leadership with financial reporting, forecasts, and ad-hoc analyses Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting experience in real estate or property management Strong knowledge of Yardi Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Generous PTO and paid holidays Collaborative, team-oriented office culture Seniority level
