Job Description As a Classroom Security Paraprofessional with The Menta Group, you will work with classroom instructors and staff to support students in the classroom and provide general support for all students in the school. Responsibilities

De-escalate and manage classroom behaviors Implement and maintain behavioral program policies and data Maintain classroom order and safety (security) Supervise students inside the classroom Assist in preventing and managing incidents of non-compliance or escalation Monitor for issues that could disrupt learning or pose safety concerns, report and correct them, and respond to emergencies Provide behavioral interventions for students Think quickly, independently, and tactfully Qualifications

Background in security or juvenile justice is helpful Military Veterans are encouraged to apply Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Social Services, Kinesiology, Health, or related fields is preferred but not required Ability to operate tactfully under stress Flexibility to adapt routines Must be at least 23 years old Ability to work with high-risk, special needs students Good driving record; willingness and ability to drive student van is strongly preferred Compensation & Benefits
