Office Administrator Lake Shore Burial Vault Co. has been family-owned and operated since 1911, and while a lot has changed over the years, our values haven’t. Responsibilities

Perform data entry tasks including accounts payable invoices, posting checks and accounts payable deposits, and customer files.

Answer phones and emails, create sales orders, and communicate important information regarding upcoming jobs with staff.

Assist in human resource tasks including updating employee files, putting together payroll reports, processing applications for employee benefits, and supporting staff with any issues.

Placing orders for manufacturing and office supplies when necessary. Properly tracking purchase orders.

Working with office staff to complete month-end reporting.

Alternating customer service responsibilities with other staff members during non-office hours.

Requirements

Proficient computer skills and experience with (or ability to learn) Office 365 (Excel, Word) and an ERP software (Sage 100 experience is a plus).

Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to solve practical problems.

Experience in bookkeeping, AR/AP, purchasing, and customer service.

Willingness to learn and work with the team to build more efficient processes.

Ability to accurately calculate figures (discounts, finance charges, etc.).

Flexible, but reliable schedule.

Experience in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, purchasing, customer support, and/or project management are all a plus. The person filling this position will be cross-trained in multiple different job tasks, so regardless of experience a willingness and ability to learn is the most important.
