Overview
We are seeking a full-time Identity Access Administrator 2 in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing identity and access through the use of tools and scripting.
Essential Functions
Coordinates with other areas of IT to ensure compliance of Identity Access Management (IAM) systems
Creates and updates procedural documents as well as trains users in the proper use of IAM systems
Uses processes, tools, and skills to create, maintain, and deprovision user accounts, group permissions, and other security objects based on IT security policies and standards
Assists IT in maintaining SOX, TISAX, NIST, and PCI compliance through review and recommendations for compliance
Responsible for operations of security systems such as Active Directory Tools, Adaxes, and other account management systems
Researches and makes recommendations for improvements for IAM
Contributes to technical research on new technologies, processes or procedures for overall system improvements
Demonstrates understanding of business impacts of issues and how they relate to IT owned solutions
Performs internal audits and works with outside auditors to maintain regulatory compliance
Works with users to analyze/configure/tailor security and access levels to the IT owned applications
Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques including performing root cause analysis and identification of corrective action for given problems
Makes recommendations for component level improvements and identifies interdependencies in system and application components
Participates in roadmap planning for systems or applicationsand uses tools and scripting to efficiently manage technology
Serves as a mentor to and trainsless experienced IT Administrators (Administrator 1)
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Businessor technology related field AND a minimum of 2 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
Demonstrated ability to solve moderately complex technical problems independently with a focus on quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization
Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions
Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)
