Overview

The Enterprise Payments (EP) Debit Operations team is seeking a dynamic Process Manager to support the Debit monitoring and resiliency function. The team is part of the Retail Bank line of business and is tasked with developing oversight of end-to-end payments operations, risk management, and operational resiliency for Debit payment types. We establish accountabilities across the Debit payments ecosystem, serve as an advisor for stakeholders, and monitor Debit payment risks and controls end-to-end across the Debit framework. As a Process Manager, you will help manage and support critical day-to-day monitoring and resiliency across all Debit payment rails. You will work closely with key Debit payments stakeholders to deliver results that will have a direct impact on how we monitor Debit payments and maintain operational stability. You will help drive our well-managed agenda and ensure the organization is positioned to support a growing and more sophisticated Debit organization, while leveraging technology to support strategic initiatives and reduce risk. You will help develop and maintain strategic insights and key processes for the Debit Operations team, oversee detailed analysis of Debit payments-related issues and events, escalate major risks to leadership, and manage resolution. You will connect with Debit partners across the ecosystem to build and manage routines for monitoring risks, events, controls, and key operational metrics to lead insight-producing discussions with leadership.

Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of processes for end-to-end EP Debit payments monitoring and resiliency. Work with stakeholders to produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on payment rail and business performance. Increase payment rail resiliency by mapping the payment ecosystem, identifying areas for improvement, recommending solutions to appropriate stakeholders, and following through to ensure implementation. Help ensure that Debit payment issues and events are identified and documented appropriately, escalating major risks and events to senior management when necessary. Analyze reporting to identify themes and trends across the organization and support resiliency efforts. Establish automated controls and alerting to ensure operational readiness by enhancing current monitoring processes. Support cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders and help develop resolution strategies for Debit-related issues and events.

Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification At least 3 years of experience in the financial industry At least 3 years of experience in process or project management At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal and external business clients At least 2 years of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Process Management, Project Management, Computer Science or Information Systems Six Sigma, Lean, or PMP Certification At least 5 years of project, process, or relationship management experience At least 3 years experience with multiple payment types At least 3 years of experience in analyzing data using SQL or Python At least 3 years of experience leading projects across cross-functional teams

Location

This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend 3 days per week working in office and the remainder of the week working virtually.

Compensation and Benefits

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $126,700 - $144,600 for Manager, Process Management Richmond, VA: $115,200 - $131,500 for Manager, Process Management Wilmington, DE: $115,200 - $131,500 for Manager, Process Management Locations other than the above will have pay ranges associated with that location, as reflected in the candidate’s offer letter.

Additional Information

This role is eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives. Capital One offers a comprehensive benefits package.
