Accompany Producers on client visits, including renewals and new business, and independently manage client meetings. Consult and educate clients on coverage, exclusions, and exposures, documenting accounts in the agency management system. Round out accounts and secure new lines of business for clients. Prepare comprehensive proposals and presentations for new business and renewals, adhering to agency standards. Develop tailored placement strategies with carrier partners, including new products and services and unique coverages. Conduct coverage and pricing analyses, proactively creating cost and exposure comparisons year-over-year. Manage client concerns and maintain positive relationships with carrier partners to meet client needs. Ensure adherence to operational procedures and industry regulations on client accounts. Train and mentor team members, while actively pursuing professional development and staying updated on industry trends. Participate in team meetings, carrier events, and represent the agency in external engagements. Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:
Active Michigan Property and Casualty license; Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing large and captive commercial accounts; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Professional designations such as CISR, CIC, CRM; Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel. Nice-to-Have Skills:
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team; Strong multitasking skills and ability to work under minimal supervision; Positive outlook, enthusiasm, and flexibility in a dynamic environment; Initiative-taking attitude and composure under pressure; Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work product; Problem-solving skills for complex coverage issues and gaps; Ability to analyze and verify accuracy in insurance policies and forms.
