UW Health Job Description Work Schedule : 60%, day shift. Monday – Friday; Hours range 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, working three (3), 8-hour shifts per week. You will work at the Pharmacy Services Building in Middleton, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational need of the department. Pharmacy Technician Specialist , you will: Help support our pharmacy services across the entire Madison area. Bring your passion for helping care for patients through diligently picking and preparing medications. Be a strong team player, highly detail-oriented, and a critical thinker who easily identifies how to prioritize work and manage time within a busy work environment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Required Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred Work Experience 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school.
