The Pharmaceutical Research Center is a small section of the UW Health Pharmacy Department that manages study medications for Clinical Research Trials.
As a
Pharmacy Technician Specialist
you will:
Manage inventory for over 250 different clinical trials, shipment receipt/verification of investigational drugs, study drug ordering, and expiration monitoring.
Prepare research medications for inpatients and outpatients, ensuring correct protocol, correct drug and subject.
Bring your strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent Required
Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred
Work Experience
6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required
Licenses & Certifications
Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required
Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
