Position Summary The Sr Epic Application Analyst – EpicCare Ambulatory is responsible for implementation, maintenance and support of EpicCare Ambulatory. This role collaborates with operational leaders, end users, vendors and IT personnel to ensure implementation, maintenance and support meet organizational and regulatory standards while ensuring optimized patient care and safety.

License/Certification/Registration

EpicCare Ambulatory Certification (Required)

Research, Genomics, Healthy Planet or Dorothy (Preferred)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in a related area may substitute for a degree

Experience

5+ years experience in a hospital/clinic healthcare setting supporting an EHR, related applications, and integrated workflows. Experience with an EHR vendor is also acceptable.

Experience with software application tools used for application build and data manipulation.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare and/or financial software applications

Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses and various hospital staff

Strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels of associates and management

Knowledge of analytical processes and problem‑solving skills

Ability to evaluate business user needs against current system capabilities

Ability to translate business requirements to high‑level system specifications

Familiarity with Microsoft Windows products (Word, Excel, Access, Project) or equivalent

Aptitude for learning new software tools and products

Familiarity with the software development cycle

Compensation Annual salary range: $74,859.20 – $127,400

Benefits Eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on‑call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
