Rose Associates – Leasing Representative (Multifamily Properties)

Responsibilities
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents, conducting property tours and showcasing available units.
Manage the complete leasing process, including application support, background and credit checks, and timely communication of leasing decisions.
Build positive relationships with residents and the property management team to foster a welcoming leasing office environment.
Collaborate with on‑site maintenance to address repair requests and communicate lease renewals and concerns to current residents.
Assist with weekly and monthly sales reports, traffic analyses, and provide area market trend insights to support leasing strategy.
Receive and record deposits and rent payments accurately.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local market trends, competitor offerings, and contribute to effective leasing and marketing strategies.
Prepare and execute lease agreements in compliance with company policies, ensuring accurate record‑keeping.
Perform duties outside the normal responsibilities as needed, including on‑site presence throughout the building, stair ascension and descent, and exposure to varying environmental conditions.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Minimum one year of leasing or sales experience, preferably in multifamily residential properties.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with computers and property management software (Microsoft Office, iLuvLeasing, On‑Site, Yardi).
Knowledge of fair housing regulations and leasing practices.
Valid NYS real estate license or ability to obtain one within 120 days of employment; all active license holders must register with Rose Associates upon hire.
Availability to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
Compensation & Benefits In addition to a base hourly rate of $28.85 – $31.25, significant incentive pay and a full benefits package are available.
Important Notes Successful candidates must be present on-site, able to move throughout the building, and comfortable with stairs and varied environmental conditions.
