North Eastham, MA; West Chatham, MA Responsibilities

Assist multiple Project Managers (PM) with projects from $1k to multi-million dollars. Support the PM through the pre-construction process, including in-house estimating takeoffs and developing subcontractor and vendor bid packages, permitting, project start up and mobilization. Help prepare client contract packages and organize project start up documents for the jobsite, plans, schedules, and in-house bid guides for the Construction Supervisor or Foremen. Set up and help prepare progress invoicing, change orders and schedules for clients. Manage and level multiple subcontractors/vendors bids for active jobs for review with PM. Track subcontractor progress billings against awarded contracts and assist in estimating potential change orders for client approval. Update project schedules based on PM feedback and job site progress. Prepare and organize for onsite/offsite client meetings; assist the owner with product selections and procurement (plumbing fixtures, tile, light fixtures, paint, appliances, etc.). Convey, track, organize and update product selections for the site; prepare cost reports to track the financial outlook of projects. Assist in streamlining the project closeout process, punch lists, owner manuals, owner education and subcontractor introduction of systems and maintenance. Develop skills necessary to meet with clients and create estimates. Qualifications

Must be driven and growth oriented. Must have strong communication skills. Must be able to use computer, iPad and iPhone; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; and Adobe Reader (including editing PDF documents). Willing to learn construction accounting software and client database software. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Physical requirements: largely sitting; some standing and movement; ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary. Occasional heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
