This position is onsite at our Drive Systems Center (1700 N Hwy 360) in Grand Prairie, TX.

What you’ll be doing as an Associate Technician, Drive Systems Test Lab

Build, configure, and maintain the data systems used in the Drive Systems Test Lab

Install, configure, wire, and maintain various sensors and transducers involved in these tests, including strain gages, pressure transducers, temperature sensors, encoders, displacement transducers, and accelerometers

Work independently from drawings to fabricate and configure electronic circuits, including wiring harness assemblies

Check out and troubleshoot data systems using oscilloscopes, digital multi meters, and other test equipment

Properly handle and safeguard test components

Qualifications

Must possess solder skills

Familiarity with engineering drawings, electronics, transducer installation and calibration, and/or DC circuit troubleshooting

Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment with customers and with other functional disciplines

Some travel and 2nd shift work (afternoon/evening shift) will be required based on business needs

Must be able to lift 50 lbs and safely work in test cells

Interest in electronics and/or testing
