hands-on Testing & Validation Technician

who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to get a little dirty. In this role, you’ll be on the floor with your laptop, tools in hand, testing, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning our advanced robotic and packaging systems to ensure they perform at their best. What You’ll Do Set up, power up, and configure robotic and automation systems

Run system tests using customer products, identify issues, and adjust programming as needed

Troubleshoot both

mechanical and electrical components

— turn wrenches, adjust pneumatics, and perform alignments

Work side-by-side with engineers and assemblers to ensure equipment runs smoothly

Provide on-the-floor support to resolve problems quickly and effectively

Document testing results and recommend improvements

What We’re Looking For 3–5 years’ experience in

automation, manufacturing, or equipment testing

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics

Hands-on experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens a plus), HMIs, and robotics

Comfortable using both

tools and technology

(hand tools, meters, laptops)

Strong troubleshooting skills — mechanical and electrical

Willingness to travel occasionally (10–20%)

High school diploma or technical degree required; engineering or technical coursework a plus

Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Balance time between hands-on mechanical work and laptop troubleshooting

Comfortable wearing PPE and working on the production floor
