Location : The Doliver of Tanglewood, an Independent Living and Assisted Living with Memory Care senior community
Pay Rate : Competitive
Shift Rotation : 5 on 2 off
Shift : 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the day-to-day activities of the front of house team, ensuring all staff are well-trained and providing top-notch service.
Train new hires, provide regular performance feedback, and participate in performance management processes. Ensure adequate staffing through scheduling and providing coverage as needed.
Serve as the liaison between front of house and back of house to ensure accurate and timely completion of resident and guest orders.
Maintain a clean dining room set up to company standards for all meals and functions.
Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring each person feels valued and well-served.
Keep track of dining room small ware, table ware, and linen. Conduct regular inventory checks.
Collect and address resident suggestions and comments to continually improve dining services.
Regularly evaluate dining services through quality assurance audits and maintain accurate meal count reports.
Ensure residents’ safety by removing walkers from the dining room and returning them promptly after meals.
Fully understand the menu and be able to explain selections to residents and guests.
Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team.
Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies.
Minimum Requirements
Must obtain accredited food handler certification within 60 days as per State guidelines.
Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Word and email.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
One to two years of related experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
Great customer service attitude and the ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests.
Ability to give and follow written and oral instructions.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
