Join the U.S. Secret Service as a Federal Police Officer (Uniformed Division) with a $50,000 Recruitment Incentive. The base pay range is $75,134.00/yr - $129,251.00/yr. Note that this position must be performed in Washington, DC, and relocation will be required. Recruitment Incentive: Applicants may be eligible for a $50,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements. Uniformed Division Officers carry out assignments in protection, including: Providing protection for The White House Complex, The Vice President's Residence, The Main Treasury Building and Annex, and foreign diplomatic missions and embassies in the Washington, D.C. area. Traveling in support of the Presidential, Vice Presidential, and foreign heads of state/government missions. Enforcing mandated protective responsibilities as described under Title 18, United States Code, Section 3056A. Requirements

To be eligible, applicants must: Be a U.S. citizen. Possess a current valid U.S. driver's license. Be at least age 20 and less than age 37 at the time of conditional offer of employment. Carry and use a firearm, and maintain firearm proficiency. Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular, and corrected visual acuity of 20/20 or better in each eye. Meet hearing loss requirements. Submit to a drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing while occupying the position. Complete 12 weeks of intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and 17 weeks of specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center. Certify registration with the Selective Service System or be exempt. The U.S. Secret Service is an equal opportunity employer.
