Lead Teacher

Lead Teacher position available at Dartmouth College Child Care Center. The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a curriculum to meet the care, developmental, and educational needs of children within the Center. Responsibilities include guiding children's behavior, communicating with parents, and recording children's developmental progress. The Lead Teacher will work with all Center staff to create a warm, caring, and safe environment for the care of young children. Requirements include an Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, 18 credits in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education, and three-plus years of experience in early childhood settings. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child and Family Studies, and three years of experience as a lead teacher.
