STIPEND OPPORTUNITY: Equitable Services (SY25-26)

TITLE: STIPEND OPPORTUNITY: Equitable Services REPORTS TO: OSS Deputy Chief of Services and Accountability or their designee STIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW: The Office of Specialized Services (OSS) seeks existing BTU staff to provide Equitable Services support. The support will include: Tracking caseloads to provide accurate child count numbers Reviewing BPS records/IEPs versus private school records for children included in the count Coordinating with homeschool parents to ensure accurate count Service Plans: Coordinating creation of service plans for eligible students with principals Sharing this information with families Coordinating service plan meetings for each student on a service plan Writing and maintaining service plans TERMS: The stipend will be paid at the hourly rate of $56.81 once the responsibilities are completed. OSS expects this to take between 20 and 60 hours total. Only duties and administrative tasks performed outside of the regular workday will be compensated. All time and tasks outside regular hours must be tracked and documented. QUALIFICATIONS: Currently working in Boston Public Schools Appropriate licensure Member of BTU bargaining unit Fluency in a language other than English is preferred
