Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in German 2 with the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Preference for candidates with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Compensation and Benefits
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour. Get paid up to twice per week for completed sessions. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. Get matched with students suited to your teaching style and expertise. AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time. We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and payments are processed by Varsity Tutors. Ways To Connect With Students
