We build and maintain innovative technology and trading systems to stay on the cutting edge of the industry. What Our Quantitative Traders Do

Rotations – Periodic rotations between product groups to build broad understanding of the market and Belvedere’s trading strategies Trade analysis – Learn our trading systems and tools, evaluate trading effectiveness, and provide feedback for continuous improvement Improve trading systems – Collaborate with technology teams to iteratively improve our proprietary trading software Research – Participate in quantitative research and the application of quantitative strategies within core market making operations Daily trading activities – Execute trades across multiple assets and exchanges using Belvedere’s proprietary platform Desk strategy – Engage in daily collaborative strategy adjustments with your team Development projects – Lead and participate in quantitative development projects to enhance trader-centric technologies Data analysis – Analyze extensive datasets to extract insights that bolster trading strategies Training – Benefit from the BTU program and ongoing practical training within trading operations Collaboration with leadership – Work closely with Position Managers and software development Team Leads Key Qualities in Great Candidates

Communication – Speak confidently and concisely, especially when stakes are high Team player – Demonstrated success in team-based environments Intellectually curious – Eager to learn from peers and tackle complex problems Analytical – Strong data analysis and quantitative thinking Core development skills – Ability to learn programming languages such as C++, C#, and Python Knowledge of financial markets is a plus Ability to live in or relocate to Chicago or Boulder Graduation date: December 2025 or Spring 2026 (start in spring or fall 2026) Compensation

$140,000 per year (range may vary by role) Additional information
