Overview
Part‑time Adjunct Instructor – Oracle Database Administration Remote teaching for California Institute of Applied Technology (CIAT). Classes meet Monday and Tuesday 6:00–9:30 pm PT. Candidates must reside in California, New Mexico, or Florida. This is a variable‑hour position with a flexible schedule. Responsibilities
Teach synchronous online courses via Microsoft Teams. Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning and engagement. Adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student needs. Maintain accurate student grade records in CIAT Student Database. Promote collaboration with CIAT staff and participate in new projects. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Technology or related field; master’s preferred for General Education instructors. At least three years’ experience in the field or two years of teaching experience. Current Oracle Database Foundations certification required; Oracle Database Administration expertise preferred. Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Teams, Canvas, and learning technologies. Strong oral and written communication skills. Commitment to an inclusive learning environment.
