The League for People with Disabilities is seeking a dynamic
Group Fitness Instructor – Aquatics
to lead engaging, safe, and inclusive aquatic fitness classes in our Wellness Center pool. This is a contracted position with compensation based on a 60/40 revenue split—the more participants, the more you earn. Responsibilities
Create an upbeat and inclusive environment for all class participants Lead group classes according to a set schedule — punctuality is a must! Collect and encourage feedback through session-end evaluations Collaborate with the Manager of Wellness on class promotion and participant retention Keep certifications and skills current and aligned with best practices Support The League’s mission by advocating for individuals with disabilities Demonstrate and uphold the organization’s Core Values: Accountability, Participant Focus, Quality, Independence, and Mutual Respect Qualifications
Minimum age 18 Current Group Fitness Instructor Certification Current CPR and First Aid Certification Excellent communication and social skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Willingness to complete Hepatitis vaccine series (optional) Details
Location: The League for People with Disabilities Compensation: 60/40 Revenue Split (Instructor receives 60%, dependent on class size) Employment type: Contract This is more than a class — it’s a community.
