This is a full-time position in a fast-paced, field-based environment with travel within the local market and opportunities for career advancement. A highly motivated, dedicated candidate who can train, train, teach, and develop dealer partners will thrive in this role. What you will do
Educate and train current dealer partners in the assigned area and acquire new sources and contacts. Manage and consult on all sales activities and account development for dealers in the assigned area. Ensure quality and consistency of product and service delivery while growing Westlake’s dealer network. Communicate regularly via phone and in-person visits to train on current programs and fast funding requirements. Provide financing solutions, restructure vehicle loans as needed for profitability for Westlake and dealership partners. Assist with the preparation of sales contracts by educating the dealer on what is needed for proper verification by Westlake Financial. Develop and maintain sales materials and stay up to date on current financial product knowledge. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events for independent and franchise dealers. What we look for
Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales (required) 1–2 years’ prior sales experience with a proven track record College degree (preferred or equivalent work experience) Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology Goal-oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement Ability to work amicably with diverse teams Knowledge/experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL (beneficial) Significant local travel; valid state driver’s license required What we offer
Self-determined, performance-based compensation package First-year guaranteed minimum income starting at $5,000 monthly + commissions; thereafter, base of $1,000 monthly, with performance-based earnings Average earnings: typical reps around $160,000 after 1 year; top performers higher Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement program (average $450/month) No limit on commissions Full-time benefits: medical, dental, vision; life and disability; FSA; 401K matching; employee stock ownership; wellness programs; travel and other employee discounts The exact starting compensation will be offered based on location, experience, and other factors.
