Acoustical Sales Specialist
– The primary function is to provide product knowledge on building materials including drywall, insulation, metal studs for drywall, ceiling systems, stucco, construction tools, construction safety items, drywall compound, and accessories for the drywall industry, with a focus on acoustical products. Responsibilities
Build relationships with customers. Use the company computer system to enter orders and complete sales orders and tender cash sales. Develop product knowledge to assist customers with purchases. Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to determine strategic sales approaches. Overcome objections of prospective customers and emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and reports. Maintain customer accounts and perform sales administrative tasks. Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pricing, and related information. Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required; 4-year degree preferred. Core Competencies

Ability to work independently and as part of a team; capable of leading, executing, and delegating as needed. Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization. Professional communication, both verbal and written, with coworkers and customers. Physical & Cognitive Requirements
Stationary work in an office environment approximately 50% of the time; ability to move within the office to access files and equipment. Ability to operate basic office machinery and communicate accurately with team members and management. Problem solving, task prioritization, stress management, multitasking, information analysis, and timely problem-solving. Demonstrate sound judgment and initiative. Benefits
