The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is a revenue-generating sales position working with a group of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships. The ASM will serve as a liaison between the dealers and Stellantis to assist in all areas of retail development including forecasting retail sales objectives by vehicle line, ensuring the dealer orders meet market demand and managing monthly vehicle scheduling to ensure maximum production capability within the area.
Additional responsibilities include reviewing minimum sales responsibility (MSR) and providing consultation on improvement opportunities, reviewing and analyzing dealer financial statements, and consulting with dealers on opportunities to improve their retail operations. This role will ensure that advertising and marketing initiatives are aligned with the corporate message and branding guidelines, and that appropriate levels of sales satisfaction are present at all dealerships. The ASM will motivate and lead independent entrepreneurs to higher performance levels while meeting internal goals.
Responsibilities
Review MSR and provide consultation on improvement opportunities
Analyze dealer financial statements and advise on opportunities to improve retail operations
Coordinate advertising and marketing initiatives with corporate branding guidelines
Ensure high levels of sales satisfaction at all dealerships
Motivate and lead independent dealers to achieve internal goals
Forecast retail sales objectives by vehicle line and ensure dealer orders meet market demand
Manage monthly vehicle scheduling to maximize production capability within the area
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
2+ years of sales or marketing experience
Lives in or near High Plains - NE/KS or willing to relocate for the position
Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite applications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a new car automotive dealership environment
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to build positive working relationships
Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership and achievement history
Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to achieve goals
