Headco Industries, Inc. dba Bearing Headquarters Co. is seeking an enthusiastic, friendly, and talented Outside Sales Representative (OSR) to join our sales team. The primary job responsibility is to achieve sales and profit goals by identifying, developing, and growing new customers and by developing, expanding, and retaining existing customers in the assigned territory. This role is responsible for educating the customer on the full offering of Bearing Headquarters Company’s vendors, products, subsidiaries, and services. This position will foster customer satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. Interactions with the customer are often face-to-face but also include electronic communications (email, text, Zoom, etc.). The OSR will be given an assigned list of current customers but will also be expected to call on and develop new customers for growth. Pay: 45,000-55,000 base pay + commission. Responsibilities

Develop and maintain business relationships with key customers. Develop and maintain customer relationships across individual customer departments (maintenance, engineering, purchasing, management, etc.). Develop and maintain business relationships with company suppliers. Become a reliable source to work with customers to identify, engineer and/or suggest products and solutions to ensure their requirements are met. Set goals and objectives, generating revenue through market development, forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales. Utilize key sales principles and best practices to achieve goals. Qualify, prospect, cold call, and network to achieve sales objectives. Cooperate with management, inside, operations, and support staff to achieve sales objectives. Maintain and submit activity reporting through use of company CRM software. Prepare proposals, enter quotations, and customer orders through use of company ERP software. Provide emergency and after-hours assistance to customers. Lead technical sales presentations and conduct training for customers. Participate in in-person or online training as required. Troubleshoot questions on quotes, manufacturing orders, or other technical questions to achieve resolution for the customer. Participate in end-of-year inventory count and review. Perform other duties as assigned. Physical job demands

Must be able to see, walk, hear, and speak. Intermittent sitting, standing, sorting, and reaching. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to walk around customer facilities, standing during each day on multiple occasions. Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and indoors including facilities with no heat or A/C. Daily travel within the assigned territory; driving 3 to 6 hours per day and climbing in/out of the vehicle multiple times per day. Occasional overnight travel required. Self-starter able to bring projects to completion without constant oversight. Job qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Two-year or four-year degree in business, engineering, or industrial distribution. A combination of education and experience will be considered for this position. Experience in selling or marketing technical products to industrial markets. Experience in customer service or inside sales in industrial distribution or in maintenance or use of industrial products (bearings, power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical products). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to take initiative and work independently. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to use Microsoft Office. Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and background/reference check. Benefits
